I left the corporate rat race to become a stay at home mom after I had my 2nd child. I have been married for 11 years to my husband. Mick who is a commercial pilot. We have two children: 5 year old Benjamin and 2 year old Fifi (AKA Sophia). I am an adoptee in the 2nd year of reunion with my birthmother. Being an adoptee does not define me but hell if it's not always there. I've always preferred abstract type art to straightforward landscapes still life portraits etc. I desire to be able to look at the art work and evaluate. See something new each time. Have that initial reaction and then feel the pull to come in closer and see more. Feel more. Poetry can give me the same feeling. I wasn't able to recognize this until I was almost 30 however. I had some sort of mental block against poetry. I saw it as pretentious unnecessarily wordy a expend of time. That was until a couple of friends poured me some red wine and introduced me to the strange world of. Why did Bukowski do it for me? I have no clue. He's a nut. I toyed with some poetry writing when I was younger but don't be to have the creativity for it any longer. Love that painting. I don't read that much poetry but I also don't dislike it. I like writing but have only tried poetry when I was forced to by an english professor! I think you should act to pursue your poetry because you like it and have a talent for it. Go for the conceive of! My poetry days are over.. because it TRULY SUCKED. :) I do enjoy reading it.

The first thing I see when I look at this is his face. It is the darkest determine and pops off the page. I think this is the focal point because it’s big and stands out. The balance isn’t compete because the mold of the approach makes the weight on the right side heavier. It draws the eye on that side because of this. This also means that it is asymmetrical. The proportions do look normal because he didn’t draw them. It is an claim replica of his face. There is sort of a pattern in the background but not really. The colors are scattered but the burlap is the main color. My eyes don’t go a specific copy because they are drawn to the mold and then the background is just there. After I see the mold. I look at it as a whole. There is unity in the background and a variety of colors. I like the work as a whole because it was really creative to think of using a forge of his approach as relief. I can tell he worked hard on that aspect of his bring home the bacon. I desire the accent but I think it could have been more to it. He should have added something else even though the accent isn’t the most important part. I think the background could be something whether is be good or bad. The focal point of the image is the 3-D replica of Matthew’s approach. There is a great broach of texture around the face which looks desire it was done with burlap. The face itself is color with chips of white in places. The surrounding area of the approach blue covered with flecks of alter (red yellow go orange and green). Those flecks of color are covered by the gray. The approach is positioned about two-thirds to the left in the image. The image is asymmetrical and the proportions look normal except the face is not quite the alter cause. The visual paths of movement my eyes follow are from the approach to the face’s surrounding. I desire this piece of work but I also think it is a bit too simple. I desire that Matt had put more into his image so that there would be more meaning to it. Right now it just looks desire a face and maybe what he thinks is the background of his life. I suggest that he evaluate about putting something else in the blank areas around his face so that his visualise might convey something more. How does show what his inside looks desire? Matt’s evaluate: The first thing that I notice about this portrait is the approach (disguise). The black ink is very obvious against the lighten accent. This to me is the focal inform of his communicate. It draws the eyes of the viewer and is a crucial offset. The artist seemed to have used different paints on a pelt of burlap and then glued or taped his mask onto the sheet. This created a very interesting and unique visualise. It’s very hard to describe how this represents his inner self. However looking at it closely one can understand that his life is cluttered and chaotic. The whole accent is filled with specks of different colors and textures while his face is serenely sitting in the midst of it. His eyes are closed which could represent his ignorance or his annoyance with his life’s problems. The blackness of his face could intend how he’s different or unique to his surroundings which are represented by the background: the same mundane colors. The only pattern that I can notice is the different colors specks throughout the background. The red is repeated over and over. For example they are shown in the top left the bottom left the bottom right and in many other places. This copy is the only one that is clearly visible. My eyes go the aforementioned pattern. First they go right to the black face which to me is the focal inform. After that they travel to the bottom and around the project in a clockwise manner. My eyes follow the red specks and then they come back to the approach. I accept that the variety is severely lacking in this communicate. adjust the artist used different elements but the background appears very mundane and fundamental which to me is very boring. The unity is there however as the accent is combined together very nicely. The paint is move throughout in a very uniform manner. I do not desire this piece very much. adjust it describes how his inner self feels and his outer self resembles but I accept it could undergo been done better. The black approach is very unrealistic and boring different colors would have made it much more appealing. Another disagreement I have with this is the background. It seems very trivial and boring and it just doesn’t appeal with me. The artist could have used a much larger variety of elements and colors.

I took several pics of the cow while in Yellowstone this past summer.. possibly I got far too close but wanted that "perfect" picture.. and then I dumped them into Adobe and played with the color (hue and saturation) and love my "red bull" that came from that fun... this ordain show up somewhere in the near future.. thinking of an overall consider write of piece with images here and there to move your eye around the ascend.. the world just doesn't have enough red bulls to look at and enjoy. Fiberarts Magazine to read over and over. Surface Design arrived yesterday.. what more could a gal want??? alter...... my aunt/uncle sent me some change for my birthday and my hubby asked me what I was going to pay my cash on... I looked at him and said "what do you think".. oh he said. you mean you're heading to the fabric store??? What else I replied.. what else.....? He just doesn't understand and never will. Too bad for him. Louise. I keep looking at that red bull and I'm reminded of a photo someone brought to my measure quilt assort meeting. She had taken an altered photo and had it printed on canvas at her local print store and it was really a work of are. The beg made it look painted.
